Job Description
The Registered Nurse RN Float position offers flexible coverage across various units and departments, collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Transitioning smoothly between units to support diverse medical needs
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and support staff for patient-centered care
Conducting patient assessments and customizing care plans based on diagnoses and histories
Responding promptly to emergencies and stabilizing patients
Assisting with patient placements, admissions, and transfers to optimize flow
Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications include:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
At least 1 year of RN experience (clinical specialty preferred)
Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
BLS certification (ACLS for critical care areas)
