Job Description
The RN Float position involves providing adaptable nursing coverage across various units, ensuring seamless patient care and smooth transitions.
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care and effective communication.
Performs thorough patient assessments, developing tailored care plans based on individual diagnoses and histories.
Responds promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients.
Assists with patient placements, admissions, and transfers, managing bed capacity and patient flow.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 1 year of RN experience (clinical specialty preferred), and licensure in North Carolina or a Compact state. Certifications required are BLS (CPR), with ACLS for critical care areas.
