Job Description
Offering a $20,000 sign-on bonus, this nursing position involves providing professional care to assigned patients in a 143-bed acute care facility.
Collaborate with medical staff and team members to ensure quality patient care.
Perform triage, recognize critical presentations, and manage medication reconciliation.
Administer IVs, collect blood, and assess patient needs, responses, and discharge planning.
Educate patients and families about hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care.
Follow safe medication practices and document patient responses.
Supervise and delegate duties to ancillary staff as appropriate.
Qualifications include an associate’s degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), RN license in NC, and 1-3 years of recent acute care experience.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Handle with Care.
Skills needed: critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work under stress.
