Job Description
The Education Specialist leads the design and development of systems supporting staff involvement in practice, research, education, and quality decisions, fostering a collaborative environment for nurses to practice at their highest level of licensure.
Participates in creating and implementing orientation and continuing education programs for nursing staff.
Evaluates educational outcomes and links them to quality processes and patient care results.
Collaborates with clinical leaders and educators to promote competency, ongoing learning, and safe patient care.
Qualifications include a BSN (MSN/DNP preferred), recent acute care, emergency department, or critical care experience, BLS certification, with ACLS, PALS, and instructor credentials strongly preferred.
This role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring adherence to privacy and security standards.
