Job Description

The Education Specialist leads the design and development of systems to support staff involvement in practice, research, education, and quality decisions, fostering a collaborative environment for nurses to practice at the highest licensure level.

Responsibilities include participating in the creation and implementation of orientation and continuing education programs, with outcomes evaluated and linked to patient care quality.

Collaborates with clinical leaders and educators to promote competency, ongoing learning, and safe, high-quality patient care.

  • Qualifications include a BSN (required), MSN/DNP (preferred), recent acute care, emergency, or critical care experience, BLS certification, with ACLS, PALS, and instructor credentials strongly preferred.

    • This role may involve access to sensitive information, requiring adherence to confidentiality and data protection standards.
