Job Description

The Education Specialist supports staff development through orientation, ongoing education, and program development.

  • Collaborates with hospital, community, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with laws and standards.

  • Develops policies, procedures, and standards of care; interprets regulations related to healthcare access, delivery, and financing.

  • Leads in designing educational activities, promoting practice at the highest licensure level, and evaluating outcomes linked to patient care quality.

  • Supports preceptors, facilitates conflict resolution, and represents case management at organizational meetings.

  • Requires a Master’s degree (preferably in Nursing or Social Work), 3-5 years of clinical experience, and strong communication and leadership skills. Pediatric experience is a plus.
