Job Description
The Education Specialist supports staff development through orientation, ongoing education, and program development.
Collaborates with hospital, community, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with laws and standards.
Develops policies, procedures, and standards of care; interprets regulations related to healthcare access, delivery, and financing.
Leads in designing educational activities, promoting practice at the highest licensure level, and evaluating outcomes linked to patient care quality.
Supports preceptors, facilitates conflict resolution, and represents case management at organizational meetings.
Requires a Masterâs degree (preferably in Nursing or Social Work), 3-5 years of clinical experience, and strong communication and leadership skills. Pediatric experience is a plus.
