Job Description
This nursing role involves providing direct patient care based on the nursing process, adhering to standards of practice.
Performs interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Documents all patient care activities accurately.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and mobility.
Collaborates across disciplines for care coordination, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Assesses and educates patients and families tailored to their age, culture, and condition.
Acts as an advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
Qualifications include an active Tennessee RN license or Compact State license with intent to obtain Tennessee license within 30 days, critical thinking skills, decisiveness, ability to work independently in stressful environments, and BLS certification within 90 days.
