Job Description
This role involves providing direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with professional standards.
Performs care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Documents patient care accurately and monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assists patients with activities of daily living including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and mobility.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, discharge planning, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Evaluates learning needs and provides education tailored to patient and family.
Acts as an advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
Qualifications:
Active Tennessee RN license or Compact State RN license with intent to obtain Tennessee license within 30 days.
Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently in stressful situations.
Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
