Job Description
The Registered Nurse RN Float position involves providing flexible nursing coverage across various units and departments to ensure seamless patient care and maintain quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care
Conducting thorough assessments and tailoring care plans based on individual diagnoses
Responding promptly to emergencies and critical situations to stabilize patients
Assisting with patient placements, admissions, and transfers to optimize patient flow
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required; clinical specialty experience preferred
North Carolina or Compact state RN license required
BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider); ACLS if working in critical care areas.
