Job Description

The Perioperative Clinical Service Line Coordinator – Control Desk is a leadership role reporting to the Nurse Manager in the Operating Room.

  • Responsibilities include coordinating unit policies, promoting clinical excellence, and serving as a liaison among staff, physicians, and support teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

  • Requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of AORN standards for perioperative nursing.

  • Must have a BSN or be enrolled with completion within 2 years, NY RN licensure, CPR, and 3+ years OR experience. CNOR is preferred.

  • Leadership and supervisory experience are advantageous. Skills include data interpretation, equipment management, and interdepartmental collaboration.

  • Candidate must adhere to ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and EPIC is required.
