Job Description
The Clinical Support Nurse (CSN) in the Childrenâs Hospital provides on-site leadership and expert consultation to pediatric nursing staff, supporting skill development and patient care.
Teaches and assists staff with advanced patient care skills and complex clinical situations
Manages system-related issues and provides direct care in select cases
Communicates effectively with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Demonstrates advanced nursing knowledge, manages intravascular therapy, and fosters staff problem-solving skills
Requires NYS Nursing license, BSN preferred, with pediatric/critical care certification and at least 3 years of pediatric acute care experience.
The role may involve access to sensitive information, emphasizing confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
