Job Description

The Perioperative Clinical Service Line Lead for Robotics reports to the nurse manager and plays a key leadership role within the division.

  • In collaboration, they coordinate the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the health system and perioperative nursing into effective action.

  • They must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills to ensure a safe, caring environment that promotes clinical excellence and customer service.

  • This role involves acting as a unit-based leader and liaison among clinical staff, physicians, support staff, and medical teams to promote positive patient outcomes.

  • Responsibilities include overseeing robotics equipment and supplies, advising staff, and teaching nursing functions within the specialty.

  • The lead also coordinates activities across teams, performs core RN duties, and may require experience with EPIC systems.

  • Qualifications include a BSN preferred, NY licensure, BLS, with 3 years OR experience (2 in robotics), CNOR preferred, and leadership experience.
