Job Description
Seeking an RN for the Urogynecology division within the OB/GYN department in Albany, NY, to join a Women’s Health team specializing in high-risk maternal-fetal care.
Provides proficient care for women with pelvic floor disorders, assisting with procedures like urodynamic testing and catheterization.
Performs patient triage, coordination of care, and supports physicians and patients with strong interpersonal skills.
Documents patient information, facilitates tests and procedures, and educates patients considering cultural factors.
Ensures equipment functionality, participates in patient throughput, and mentors new staff.
Collaborates with team members to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications include RN licensure, CPR certification, with preferred OB or specialty certification; experience in urology is advantageous.
Requires excellent communication, teamwork, computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, with no weekends or holidays.
