Job Description

This RN – Ambulatory position supports Pediatric Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology divisions.

  • Provides direct patient care, triage, assessment, and care planning under physician/APP supervision.

  • Records vital signs, patient history, and performs physical assessments.

  • Administers medications and assists with in-office procedures.

  • Reviews test results, manages patient requests, and facilitates follow-up calls.

  • Utilizes resources to meet patient outcomes and quality metrics.

  • Delegates tasks to LPNs and MAs as appropriate.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

  • Educates patients and staff, maintains ongoing education, and documents in EHR.

  • Minimum requirements include an RN license, CPR certification, and 1-3 years pediatric or ambulatory experience preferred. Strong communication, computer, and medication skills are essential. This role may involve access to sensitive information and requires adherence to privacy standards.
