Job Description
Seeking a full-time RN in Pediatric Rheumatology at a hospital in Albany, NY, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or holidays.
Provide direct patient care, triage, assessment, and care planning under physician or APP supervision.
Record vital signs, obtain patient history, and perform focused physical assessments.
Administer medications and participate in in-office procedures, documenting results in EHR.
Review test results, handle patient requests, and facilitate communication for patient outcomes.
Delegate tasks to LPNs or MAs as appropriate, ensure compliance with regulations, and educate staff and patients.
Maintain ongoing education and uphold regulatory standards.
Minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree, current RN licensure, CPR certification, and excellent communication skills. Experience with EHR and medication administration is preferred.
