Job Description
The ambulatory Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care across all ages using face-to-face and telecommunication methods, building long-term relationships.
Responsibilities include patient safety, health education, advocacy, care coordination, and evaluating outcomes.
Qualifications: Nursing diploma, associate or bachelor’s degree, current RN license, BLS certification, preferred ambulatory experience, and knowledge of quality improvement.
Key duties involve creating a compassionate environment, ensuring service excellence, teamwork, safety, resource stewardship, and respecting cultural diversity.
Follows nursing standards for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination, education, and evaluation.
Practices ethically, values inclusion, communicates effectively, leads, seeks ongoing learning, and incorporates evidence-based practice.
Supports a safety culture, complies with policies, participates in quality improvement, and maintains confidentiality and professionalism.
