Job Description
The RN in ambulatory neurology provides patient-centered care across the lifespan through in-person or telehealth encounters, focusing on safety, quality, education, advocacy, and care coordination.
Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and current NYS RN license.
Preferred experience in ambulatory or equivalent settings, with knowledge of quality improvement and safety standards.
Responsibilities include creating a compassionate environment, participating in quality initiatives, ensuring safety, and respecting cultural diversity.
Follows nursing standards including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination, education, and evaluation.
Practices ethically, communicates effectively, collaborates, and integrates evidence-based practice.
Supports safety culture by conducting safety inspections and adhering to safety goals.
Maintains confidentiality, complies with policies, and participates in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
