Job Description
Seeking a registered nurse in the General Surgery/Trauma Office to provide direct patient care, triage, assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans under physician or APP supervision.
Obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and focused assessments.
Administer medications and participate in procedures, documenting results in EHR.
Review test results, manage patient requests, and facilitate follow-ups.
Utilize resources to meet patient outcomes and quality metrics.
Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and MAs.
Adhere to regulatory and compliance policies, and provide staff education.
Complete ongoing education to maintain current practice knowledge.
Educate patients on health and wellness topics.
The role may involve handling sensitive information, requiring strict confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.
