Job Description
This RN – Ambulatory role involves providing primary nursing care in a pediatric hematology and oncology clinic
Administer chemotherapies, biologics, antibiotics, and perform phlebotomy and central line care
Manage prior authorizations, check chemotherapy orders, and schedule transfusions
Educate patients and families, triage calls, and report critical values to physicians
Obtain vital signs, patient history, and perform physical assessments
Administer medications, assist with procedures, review test results, and facilitate patient communication
Delegate tasks appropriately, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to quality metrics
Provide patient education on health and wellness
Minimum qualifications include an RN license, CPR certification, and relevant experience; specialty certification is preferred.
