Respiratory Therapy Technician- Riverside Methodist Hospital (student withlimited permit); part-time casual/variable shift

Job Description

The Respiratory Technician administers diagnostic and therapeutic breathing procedures, evaluates their effectiveness, and communicates findings to healthcare teams.

Responsibilities include preparing treatments, receiving physician orders, administering therapies (e.g., nebulization, mechanical ventilation, oxygen), monitoring patients, performing invasive procedures like suctioning and blood gas sampling, and ensuring equipment functionality.

They perform patient assessments, develop and reevaluate care plans, and assist with neonatal and critical care cases.

Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED, CPR certification, enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Care Program, Ohio Limited Permit or License.

Work shifts are variable, scheduled as needed, within the Pulmonary Services department.
