Job Description
This Respiratory Therapist role involves administering diagnostic and therapeutic breathing procedures, evaluating care effectiveness, and communicating findings to the healthcare team.
li>Assess and prioritize treatments based on patient needs, collect and analyze clinical data, and contribute to care plans.
li>Evaluate patient responses, recommend modifications, and ensure appropriate respiratory interventions.
li>Perform treatments such as ventilations, nebulizations, and invasive procedures; monitor and record patient data.
li>Respond to emergencies, assist with special procedures, and manage equipment ensuring safety and compliance.
li>Provide education to patients, families, and staff; mentor colleagues and support ongoing learning.
li>Hold required qualifications including an associateâs degree, licensure, NBRC certification, and CPR/BLS certifications.
li>Work variable shifts in a pulmonary services department, with travel required for home care roles if applicable.
