Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy treatment in accordance with regulations to ensure safety and quality care.
Current State License in Respiratory Therapy and CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
Preferably 2 years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices; performs physically demanding tasks including lifting, pushing, and repositioning patients.
Must have good visual acuity, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Works in a temperature-controlled indoor environment with occasional outdoor exposure; may encounter blood and body fluids.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and disaster response.
Performs additional duties as assigned to support hospital operations.
