Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy and care in compliance with regulations, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Qualifications include a current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred.
Preferred candidates have 2 years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Uses general office equipment and medical devices, with physical ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds, stand, walk, reach, and bend for patient care.
Must communicate effectively, analyze situations, work independently, and meet deadlines.
Works indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, with potential exposure to blood and body fluids, and may work outdoors occasionally.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work varied shifts, including holidays and disaster response, performing additional duties as assigned.
