Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory therapy treatment in accordance with regulations to ensure safe care.
Qualifications include a current State License, CPR certification, with ACLS preferred, and approximately 2 years of hospital experience preferred.
Uses general office and medical equipment; physical ability to lift, push, pull, and reposition patients, with prolonged standing, walking, and maneuvering in various positions.
Must have effective communication, decision-making, and independent work skills.
Works in a temperature-controlled indoor environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids; may work outdoors occasionally.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and disaster situations.
Performs additional duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
