Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist provides patient-centered respiratory care in compliance with regulations, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Requires current State License in Respiratory Therapy, CPR certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
Typically needs 2 years of hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy.
Operates equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, and computers.
Must have good visual acuity, effective communication skills, and physical ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds, stand, walk, and perform patient care tasks.
Possesses strong analytical, decision-making, and independent work skills.
Works in a temperature-controlled indoor environment with potential exposure to blood and body fluids.
Adheres to attendance, dress code, and may work various shifts, including holidays and disaster situations.
May perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
