Job Description
The Respiratory Therapist RRT provides advanced respiratory care to diagnose, evaluate, treat, and manage cardiopulmonary deficiencies within physician prescriptions.
Acts as a resource to CRT staff and may lead clinical projects as assigned.
Performs diagnostic tests, interprets results, and manages equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
Administers medications safely, monitors patient progress, and communicates with healthcare teams.
Documents care activities, participates in quality and safety initiatives, and mentors staff.
May float to other departments and be on-call as needed.
Minimum qualifications include NBRC RRT certification, a relevant degree, current state license, and certifications like BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP.
Requires physical ability to assess patients, operate equipment, lift, and transport supplies.
This full-time position offers benefits, day shifts, rotating weekends/holidays, and pay ranging from $32.02 to $49.44 per hour.
