Summary:

The qualified nurse practices independently within their clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals. They demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care, delegate appropriately, and develop their ability to handle clinical contingencies.

Responsibilities include meeting core competency expectations, delivering nursing care using the nursing process, addressing patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, administering medications and treatments per protocols, documenting care, and educating patients and families.

Job requirements include a preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing, at least 1 year of related experience, BLS certification, and an RN license in the applicable state or a compact license. The work schedule is to be determined, and this is a full-time position.
