Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager

Job Description

Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in Elizabethtown, NY.

• Handle supervisory duties for the assigned unit
• Establish and implement employee policies and procedures
• Mentor less experienced nurses with clinical and career guidance
• Maintain care standards and review resident records and quality of care
• Monitor overall care, review residents’ cases, and address questions or complaints from residents or families
• Represent the unit’s interests with upper management

Requirements include a valid State RN License, 3+ years of Long Term Care experience preferred, 2+ years of Charge Nurse experience preferred, strong computer skills, and excellent communication skills.
