Job Summary: The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care, collaborating with the healthcare team to improve quality by applying evidence-based practices. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, while supervising licensed and unlicensed staff.

Practice Standards include exemplary professional practice, structural empowerment, transformational leadership, and innovation standards.

Essential functions include coordinating nursing care, involving patients and families, communicating with team members, participating in quality improvement, orienting new staff, and contributing to policy development. Provides input to management and participates in operational activities and committees.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, minimum 2 years RN experience, BSN preferred, BLS required at hire, ACLS within 6 months, NIHSS within 90 days. External Temporary RNs must meet specific certification requirements upon hire and within designated timeframes.
