The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides patient-centered, continuous care using the nursing process.
Collaborates with the healthcare team to improve care quality by incorporating evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities include overseeing nursing care, patient/family teaching, discharge planning, communication, and participating in quality improvement activities.
Contributes to standards of excellence, participates in staff orientation, and offers input on unit needs.
Qualifications include RN licensure, experience, and preferred BSN; BLS required at hire, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS within 90 days.
External temporary hires must meet specific certification requirements within designated timeframes.
