The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care, collaborating with the healthcare team to improve quality using evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities include coordinating nursing care, supervising staff, communicating plans, participating in quality improvement, and educating patients and families.
Performs assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, and acts as a case manager when assigned.
Participates in staff orientation, policy development, and team meetings to ensure safe, effective care.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, 2+ years acute care RN experience, BLS certification, and additional unit-specific certifications as needed.
BSN preferred; NIHSS required at hire. Must meet productivity standards and participate in quality initiatives.
