Job Summary:
The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care by collaborating with the healthcare team, integrating research and evidence-based practices. The nurse is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate nursing care and oversee team members to achieve desired outcomes.
Engage patients and families in care and discharge planning.
Communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Contribute to improving patient care and participate in quality initiatives.
Assist in staff orientation and serve as a resource on policies and procedures.
Assess, plan, educate, and serve as case manager when assigned.
Participate in meetings, performance improvement, and unit activities.
Perform duties at multiple hospital locations as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure; BSN preferred.
Valid RN license from Virginia or reciprocal state.
Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years recent RN acute care experience required.
Additional certifications may be required based on unit assignment.
