Job Description

This position involves providing professional nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and standards.

  • Practice and ensure quality by delivering relationship-based, safe, and efficient care grounded in a culture of safety and quality.
  • Communicate effectively with interprofessional teams, documenting care accurately in verbal, written, and electronic formats.
  • Support organizational goals, advocate for patients and teams, delegate tasks, and assume leadership roles such as charge nurse.
  • Participate in professional development, serve as a mentor, and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.

  • Minimum qualifications include an associate’s degree in nursing (bachelor’s preferred), 1-2 years recent acute care experience, RN licensure in the district, and relevant certifications, including CPR and EFM for perinatal nurses.
  • Requires effective communication skills, ability to prioritize, and work under stress. The pay range is $60.00.
