Provide total, patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve care quality using evidence-based practices.
Supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, coordinate care involving patients and families, and communicate effectively with team members.
Participate in quality improvement, staff orientation, and policy development activities.
Qualifications include a nursing degree, minimum 1-year RN experience, valid RN license, BLS certification, and a BSN is preferred. All RNs with an Associate’s degree must obtain a BSN within five years.
