Job Summary:

  • The Level II Competent Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care, collaborating with the healthcare team to improve quality by applying evidence-based practices.
  • Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for an assigned group of patients.
  • Acts as a leader by coordinating nursing care, supervising staff, and participating in quality and performance improvement activities.
  • Participates in orientation and policy development, ensuring a safe environment and effective communication among team members.

    • Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of 2 years RN experience, including 2 years NICU experience.
  • Valid RN license required; BSN preferred.
  • AHA BLS certification required at hire; NRP within 6 months.
