The Registered Nurse (RN) Manger is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospitals philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance & Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to his/her unit.
Implement the unit policies and procedures and act as a resource to the staff.
Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit.
Provide supervision and direction in accordance with Nursing Departments goals and objectives to all nursing staff and conducts disciplinary actions where indicated.
Coordinate, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.
Assist in the development of a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient’s needs.
Provide structure and maintain a therapeutic environment in collaboration with the patient and other health care providers.
Provide supervision to the nursing staff and acts as a resource for hospital policies and procedures.
Your Experience Matters What were looking for:
Education & Licensure: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required, or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelors Degree preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Massachusetts State Board of Nursing.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Additional Skill Requirements: Thorough knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in CPI within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

Compensation:
This is a full-time role and the expected compensation range for this role is $110,000.00 – $115,000.00 annually. Were eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Registered Nurse (RN) Manager!
