Job Description
A Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, Infection Control is needed in Fresno, CA, for an ongoing staff position working 40 hours per week, dayshift.
Responsible for overseeing infection prevention and staff development across skilled nursing facilities.
Leads implementation of evidence-based infection control practices, staff education, competency initiatives, and ensures regulatory compliance.
Works closely with Infection Preventionists, Directors of Staff Development, and facility leadership to align quality improvement goals.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 3 years of Long Term Care experience, and 2 years in leadership or infection control roles.
Must hold an active California RN license, BLS certification, LTC-CIP, and Certified Director of Staff Development credentials.
Knowledge of microbiology, epidemiology, infectious diseases, and aseptic techniques is essential.
