Overview:
Department: ICU – Intensive Care Unit
Shift: Full-Time, Day 12 Hour Shift/Rotating Weekends
Location: Evanston, IL 60202
Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse provides safe, direct patient care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Guides patient/family education and supervises other nursing staff while maintaining ICU care standards.
Communicates clinical changes to physicians, including monitoring results and symptoms.
Responds quickly to patient condition changes and maintains confidentiality.
Qualifications:
Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
Critical Care Course completion preferred; Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days.
ACLS certification within 30 days; minimum one year of acute/critical care experience.
CCRN certification and BSN preferred.
