Job Description
Seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU nights (7p-7a) with a sign-on bonus based on eligibility.
Join a 6-bed ICU unit providing care to critically ill adult patients.
Perform nursing interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and treatments.
Document patient care, monitor and communicate patient status, and assist with activities of daily living.
Collaborate across disciplines for patient transfer, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Provide education to patients and families, advocate for their well-being, and float to other departments as needed.
Manage ventilators, CPAP/BIPAP, vapotherms, and critical drips; pass rhythm recognition testing within 90 days.
Qualifications include an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), RN license in Kentucky, BLS required within 1 month, ACLS and PALS within 1 year, and Handle with Care certification within 30 days.
