Registered Nurse (RN) position in a general surgery unit at Unity Hospital, working part-time (32 hours/week) with rotating shifts (7am-7pm & 7pm-7am) and weekends/holidays.
Provides high-quality, patient-centered care, performing assessments, developing care plans, and documenting interventions.
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, including surgeons and specialized nurses, on an 18-bed medical-surgical unit focused on colorectal, bariatric, and gynecological surgeries.
Responsibilities include compliance with safety protocols, completing research forms, and maintaining certifications.
Qualifications: Diploma or Associateâs Degree in Nursing, NY RN license, BLS certification; Bachelorâs preferred.
Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
