Responsibilities include staffing and scheduling, resource allocation, crisis management, communication with healthcare teams, policy enforcement, patient flow coordination, and mentoring staff.
The role demands critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications include a current RN license, associates degree, BLS certification within 30 days, ACLS/PALS within six months, with preferred experience and certifications.
