Job Description
The RN Clinical Support Specialist collaborates with nursing leadership to develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for nursing and non-nursing staff.
Supports orientation, continuing education, in-services, and professional development tailored to specific units/clinics.
Acts as a resource for staff, mentors colleagues and students, and facilitates staff growth through coaching and role modeling.
Participates in quality improvement activities and assists in developing clinical policies and procedures.
Provides leadership in various clinical services, including ICU, IMC, PCU, and specialized teams like IV and Cath Lab.
Evaluates educational activities for continuing education credits and supports nurse residency programs.
Qualifications include a 12-hour shift, 36 hours/week, ongoing employment, and a focus on professional nursing practice and regulatory standards.
