Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Acute Stroke Unit provides high-quality, patient-centered care through assessments, care planning, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting findings, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety protocols.
Completes research documentation, mandatory education, and maintains BLS certification.
Qualifications include a Nursing diploma or associateâs degree, RN license in NY, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications are a bachelorâs degree and 6+ months of experience.
Physical requirements involve medium exertion with frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
The role offers part-time hours (24/week) with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and pay ranges from $37.18 to $49.92 per hour.
