Our 12-month Nurse Residency program begins in February 2025 and supports new graduate nurses transitioning to professional practice through education, mentorship, and peer support.

  • Develop clinical judgment to recognize patient condition changes and urgent situations
  • Enhance communication skills for effective engagement with colleagues and patient support
  • Participate in cohort activities fostering peer and professional growth
  • Learn tailored didactic content from professional nursing organizations

    The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care, demonstrating professionalism, leadership, effective communication, and accountability within organizational policies. They coordinate patient care and uphold standards of practice.

    Qualifications include a nursing degree, Georgia RN licensure, BLS certification, and eligibility for new graduates. Preferred candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and advanced certifications in their specialty areas.
