The experienced nurse practices independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care, and managing long-term goals.

Provides nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Addresses patients’ psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, and educates patients and families.

Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors side effects, and documents care.

Delegates tasks to care team members to effectively manage clinical situations.

Requires a BSN (preferred), 1+ year of relevant experience, RN license, BLS, and certifications such as ACLS and PALS.

Additional certifications may be required within specified grace periods.

Provides care in a part-time schedule with orientation and competency validation.
