Job Description
This position involves planning, implementing, and evaluating pre- and post-anesthesia patient care and pain management in a timely manner.
Must have a nursing diploma or degree, Tennessee licensure, and certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS within specified timeframes.
Requires at least one year of experience in PACU, CCU, or ER.
Work involves caring for a diverse patient population, including children and elderly, with physical demands such as standing for long hours and lifting up to 250 lbs.
Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, individualized care planning, collaboration with surgical teams, education and emotional support, medication management, accurate documentation, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.
Must demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to policies while providing high-quality, compassionate care.
