Job Description
The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and communicate about patient conditions.
Performs comprehensive assessments, including psychosocial, physical, educational, and cultural aspects, and reassesses pain and care needs regularly.
Develops and revises individualized care plans based on assessments and patient responses.
Administers medications accurately, following the five rights, and monitors for effectiveness, ensuring patient safety.
Educates patients and families, evaluating learning outcomes, and promotes professional growth.
Assists with procedures such as cardio-version, line insertions, and airway management, demonstrating knowledge of anesthetic drugs and side effects.
Maintains documentation of care and responses, demonstrating critical thinking, flexibility, and sound judgment in priority setting and delegation.
Provides age-appropriate care across the lifespan, interpreting patient data to meet individual needs, and serving as a professional role model and mentor.
