Job Description

This NICU RN role involves providing comprehensive care to newborns, including assessments, developing and evaluating care plans, administering medications, and supporting families.

  • Attend deliveries, stabilize and assess newborns, and assist with high-risk deliveries and resuscitation.
  • Collaborate with the care team, delegate tasks, and communicate infant status to physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and support family education on homecare and treatments.
  • Maintain required certifications such as BLS, NRP, and neonatal nursing credentials.

    Qualifications include at least 1 year of RN experience, an ADN or BSN, and current Texas RN license. Preferred certifications include RNC-NIC and S.T.A.B.L.E.
