Registered Nurse Manager- Evening Shift

REF:#2ce50e1e0cdbcd50 *Windber Woods Senior Living & Rehabilitation Center*, is a beautiful CCRC seeking looking for a *Registered Nurse (RN)* as *RN Supervisor/Charge Nurse* for our evening shift 3p-11p with every other weekend rotation.

*Qualifications:*
* Must possess valid unencumbered Pennsylvania state Registered Nurse* (RN)* license
* Two (2) or more years of experience as a supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital, or other related health care center.

*Essential Functions:*
* Assist the Director of Nursing in directing the day-to-day functions of the nursing activities.
* Ensure all nursing personnel are in compliance with their respective job descriptions.
* Admit, Transfer and Discharge Residents as required.
* Complete Accident / Incident Reports as necessary.
* Perform Administrative duties such as completing medical records forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc. as necessary.
* Ensure that a sufficient number of nursing personnel are assigned to their shift and the shift following.
* Develop work assignments, and/or assist in completing and performing such tasks.
* Make Rounds during the course of the shift to ensure that all nursing personnel are performing their work assignment.
* Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed by all nursing personnel.
* Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis.
* Review and evaluate your department’s work force and make recommendations to the DON.
* Ensure department disciplinary action is administered fairly and following all appropriate guidelines.
* Inform Nursing personnel of new admissions and make sure room is ready.
* Notify the resident’s physician and family with any change in the resident’s condition.
* Reviewing charting for nursing personnel for completion before the end of the shift.

Windber Woods Senior Living is offering a *$5,000 sign-on bonus.* Bonuses will be paid in increments over a specified period. Pay is based on experience and employment status. Shift differential available on weekdays after 3pm and weekend.
