Job Description
This position provides high-quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care in a holistic environment.
Requires Tennessee licensure, a nursing degree or diploma, and certifications such as BLS, NRP, and ACLS within specified timeframes.
Preferred experience includes at least one year in perinatal healthcare and certification as a Lactation Consultant.
Must be able to work under stress, return promptly when on call, and perform complex patient assessments.
Utilizes specialized equipment like fetal monitors, neonatal incubators, and medication systems.
Performs comprehensive assessments, develops individualized care plans, and documents accurately.
Ensures safety, maintains a therapeutic environment, and demonstrates professionalism through appearance and communication.
Adheres to policies, participates in staff development, and manages patient care effectively.
